Our Process
On average our Revive system takes 2 days to complete. Home owners simply need to remove any storage from the attic.
On the first day our technicians begin by first removing the existing attic insulation (whether it is blown in or rolled-in) using a special vacuum / hose assembly. They will bag and haul the old insulation to the trash. This entire process can take several hours depending on the attic size and degree of difficulty to access the attic. For example, small attics may require our techs to crawl on their hands and knees the entire time whereas large attics allow them to stand up and move around freely.
After the old attic insulation has been removed, our technicians will then begin the process of vacuuming up all the rodent droppings. To kill all traces of bacteria, fungus, germs, odors and mildew, the technician use a biodegradable disinfectant called Steri-Fab® through a sprayer. It dries in 15-20 minutes leaves no residue or active ingredients. Plus, Steri-Fab® is fragrance and dye free.
Many of our clients utilize the Revive process in conjunction with our exclusive HRX rodent exclusion system. When clients have a rodent problem Step 2 is trapping the rodents trapped inside the house. Reinstalling insulation will occur after we are sure of rodent control.
Once full rodent control is determined we will install technologically advanced thermal acoustical pest insulation. The insulation not only saves money on heating and cooling but it protects against termites and pests. Welcome to the 21st century, welcome to Revive by Halo!
